Based on one of Anthony Jones concepts I did this sculpt.
Make sure to check out the 3D print of this bust.

Nothing special about that. Blender, zBrush, Cinema 4D and vRay as usual. The concept for this creature was done by Dave Rapoza.
Why not Zoidberg?
I tried to introduce my new logo with some MoGraph stuff inspired by this tutorial.
This is a Mecha Head i did in zBrush to improve my hard surface sculpting skills. It’s heavily ‘inspired’ by the amazing ones, which Mike A. Nash did. After I sculpted a it I tried to retopologize/model it. After some time I noticed a barrier in my work. It wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, so I figured it was better to stop here.
Once again it was time for the German BlenderDay. A conference where people from Germany, Austria and Switzerland could meet, share experiences, listen to speeches or just have a talk.
This year I held a presentation about the Unity Engine. In a workshop we created a short jump ‘ n’ run game. Everyone could contribute something: Textures, Models, Scripts or Animations.
The full workshop can be seen on YouTube in German.
This project was super fun to do because I set up a muscle simulation for this bulky Superman. I sculpted him in zBrush, rigged and animated him in Cinema 4D and rendered everything in vRay.
I sculpted this character without any further thoughts but I thought about making him ready for animation. He is now fully rigged, the muscle system integrated and nearly ready to animate. I still have to texture this guy and add a cool cape.
